A Blessingway or Mother’s Blessing is a traditional Native American ceremony which originated with the Navajo tribe. A Mothers Blessing is a beautiful way to acknowledge the monumental rite of passage that is birth, motherhood and the postpartum period. The ceremony honours the mother, our matrilineal line and calls upon the wisdom of all the women who have passed through the portal of birth before and given us life.

To bless a mama is my soul work and joy. It would be an honour to facilitate this sacred ceremony for you
-
Initial meeting, in person or over the phone, to chat all things baby, birth and motherhood. Together we discuss the perfect ceremony unique to your pregnancy experience
Based on our meeting I craft a ceremony ‘script’ and guided rituals that will nourish you and the women supporting you
I arrive 1-2 hours early on the day to set-up your beautiful sacred circle
Facilitate your chosen rituals, explain what they are, what they mean and help communicate the significance of pregnancy, birth, postpartum and the mothering experience
My presence is to assure the mother and her surrounding village can be fully present in the circle, support her and enjoy the ceremony
I take care of the entire pack up of the sacred circle and seating so you are left to enjoy the loving company of your village
-
I create a beautiful sacred circle with crystals, candles, totems and elements such as flowers, petals, stones and oracle cards for spiritual guidance
Blessingway service is also inclusive of my collection of boho rugs, cushions and blankets to style the space

"A circle of women may just be the most powerful force known to humanity. If you have one, embrace it. If you need one, seek it. If you find one, for the love of all that is good and holy, dive in. Hold on. Love it up. Get naked. Let them see you. Let them hold you. Let your reluctant tears fall. Let yourself rise fierce and love gentle. You will be changed. The very fabric of your being will be altered by this, if you allow it. Please, please allow it.”
